Quantitative Challenge

February 9, 2014: Beginning of the quantitative competition, release of development and validation data.

April 24, 2014: Beginning of the registration procedure here. All groups must register before May 8th to participate on the final evaluation stage. Once registered, the teams will receive a username/password to access the final evaluation data and validation labels.

May 1, 2014: Release of the encrypted final evaluation data and validation labels. Participants can start training their methods with the whole data set.

May 8, 2014: Deadline for group registration.

May 20, 2014: Release of the decryption key for the final evaluation data. Participants can start predicting the results on the final evaluation labels. Deadline for code submission.

May 28, 2014: End of the quantitative competition. Deadline for submitting the predictions over the final evaluation data. Code can be re-submitted only if small changes have been performed (no major changes). The organizers start the code verification by running it on the final evaluation data.

June 1, 2014: Deadline for submitting the fact sheets.

June 10, 2014: Release of the verification results to the participants for review. Top ranked participants are invited to follow the workshop submission guide for inclusion at ECCV2014 workshop proceedings and to submit an extension of their work to a Special Issue at the TPAMI journal.

July 22, 2014: Notification of workshop paper acceptance.

July 26, 2014: Camera ready of workshop papers.

September 6-7, 2014 (tentative): Workshop and challenge awards, in conjunction with ECCV 2014.
